The movie starts with much potential. The storyline grabs you, the child actors are good, the concepts are not too far out ... but once the boys get into space, the momentum is lost and the film becomes an unfunny mess, though it tries desperately to be comedic.
I'd have given it 4 stars had it not taken the left turn; was close to giving it 2 stars because it was too stark a difference from beginning to end.
