Review of Experimenter (2015) by Rene V — 28 Nov 2015
A fascinating docudrama filled with great performances from Peter Sarsgaard and Winona Ryder that is very unique in its approach. The idea of constructing parts of this film almost like a stage play is unique, but ultimately is the film's hindrance to the point where it borders on being self-indulgent. The film is very well made and acted if nothing else.
