The subject material is incredibly fascinating and getting an inside look into the Milgram experiments is welcome, however, as a movie, this is poorly executed. Almost all infortmation is delivered in an expository fashion, often through VO, while the characters don't exist as actual characters, but instead as puppets for a philosophical back-and-forth.
The digging into Milgram's experiments isn't as deep as it could have been, since the filmmakers chose to examine his full life, as opposed to digging into the experiment itself. Moreover, odd stylistic choices often pulls the viewer out of the experience, leaving the whole movie disjointed.
