Review of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed (2008) by Alexa R — 23 Sep 2010
It was quite interesting. It's funny to see how these scientists (especially Atheists) are so afraid to question Darwinism. They think questioning Darwinism is equal to promoting Creationism... even though it seems apparent that Darwinism is becoming more outdated. Of course there are Creationists who jump on the idea that any loophole in Darwinism is proof in the Bible, etc... But Stein shows us a group of scientists that aren't out to promote Judeo-Christian beliefs but who merely acknowledge that Darwinism (ie all life evolving from the same single-celled ancestor, and that single cell coming to exist by mere happenstance) is not gospel truth and should be questioned and other possibilities explored.
The whole Hitler thing was interesting, and he wasn't making the point that Darwinism breeds amoral dictators. He was combatting the argument that many an Atheist (such as Bill Maher) make - that religion is the cause of all wars and terrorism, etc. Yet Hitler was not religiously motivated but was critical of religion and even though he stirred up some christian-based anti-semitism in his fellows, he remained critical of christianity and belief in god.
Wars aren't caused by religion even though they may be justified by skewed religious interpretation... they are caused by hate and greed... and are usually faught over land and power.
Anyway...
