I'm sitting here laughing a bit, because I had to wait on this page to load up and I was looking at the "consensus" of this movie in how it's supposed to be a poor movie, all around. It talks about the movie being cynical and its arguments being poorly structured. I really have to laugh at that, because I can see some evolutionist so visibly shaken because all of their arguments have been taken away from them in such a short amount of time, and how that might affect one. As it is, the consensus reflects and evolutionist's viewpoint and rancor. Again, I laugh, beause this is what is so clearly displayed all throughout the movie.

The old time movie clips that are shown throughout the film hold to a theme. The theme is that of educational prejudice. THIS is what the movie is about.

Look at the cover of the CD. Mr. Stein is in some sort of getup of a school uniform. I laugh at that, too, because it's showing that he doesn't take himself too seriously, although.....

It is very endearing, but Patronizing? Yeah, I'm sure you could warp or twist that (Mr. Stein's quiet self-deprecation) into something, especially if all of the thoughts you hold so dear are pretty much crushed in the 90 or so minutes that this movie takes to do it in. Whoever wrote that "consensus" down is just like the evolutionists in the movie itself. You'll see what I mean WHEN YOU WATCH IT... don't make this one an IF, folks!

I'd challenge any atheist or evolutionist to sit down beside Mr. Stein as he sat there in Dachau and alluded to the similarities between Hitler's Germany and the attitude that the educational establishment holds here in America. This attitude is NOT held in other countries. I know this for a fact and didn't have to have the movie indicate this to me. It seems as if they have learned from history. This point is brought out in two places in the movie.

Documentary? Yes. Laid back? Yes. Was the standing ovation that Mr. Stein received at the end of the movie real or was it staged? I'll leave that up to you to figure out.

I totally enjoyed the movie, even though I was expecting something totally different when I first understood that I'd be watching it.

Mr Stein, if I had my chance to personally thank you, I'd take it and shake your hand with a heartfelt gratitude for... probably receiving a few hate e-mails yourself for having allied yourself to this endeavor.

Tim Beeker.
