Review of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed (2008) by Anders G — 31 Aug 2009
Religulous and Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed (or as I would have called it «Hateisme». Its more catchy!) use basically the same style and logic to argument for their own side (atheimse and Intelligent design respectively). Both show the other side as ignorant and crazy (you even get to see a rare extreme atheist protest that looks just as fundamentalist as pro-life and pro-death penalty rallies of the Christians) and makes fun of each other by cross-cutting with archive photos.
The main difference is that Bill Maher (Religulous) uses alot of cursing (to act cool and liberal I guess) and are a bit more patronizing to his opponents than Ben Stein is in his movie (Expelled...). The consequence of this is that Mr Mahers movie probably is more entertaining and youthful, while the Ben Stein movie is more boring. I find these movies as extremely bias and only could be stimulating by watching them both as No «truth» is allowed in either.
