Review of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed (2008) by Steve G — 28 Dec 2009
The film dares to challenge evolutionary theory as pertaining to the origin of life, biological necessity of natural selection, & the incompletion of the fossil record, & many other unanswered questions of said theorists; all brought together by Ben Stein's singular charm, humour, & wit.
Very well done. It at LEAST asks approaches both sides of the issue & asks relevant questions of each. Though admittedly favouring one, it does not resort to the suppressing of information from the other.
Above all, it addresses the sociological phenomenon of the black-listing of those who dare to ask such questions... perhaps I'll see my name on such a list now.
Fabulous film!
(I love how Dawkins, at the end of the film, actually AFFIRMS the possibility of Intelligent Design, then COMPLETELY contradicts secular Darwinism! LOL. Brilliant!).
