A good movie for our times. Without the "over-the-top" , "in-your-face" attitude driven modern cinema. It asks compelling questions about freedom, society, academia, journalism, scientific grants etc.
Strangely, reading the reviews from journalists (newspapers) seems to bear out one of the movie's premise. Attack after attack on the movie seems to be made based on non-objective criteria and hysteria.
(ex. "propaganda", "creationist", "loony" etc.) One popular movie review page actually described it as "christian"!!! HHmmm??? The questions that Mr. Stien actually asks, remain ignored and unraised by the press, academia, students, etc.
Having lived on the other side of "The Wall" (USSR) I can vouch for the accuracy of symbolism used in the movie. Go see it and them form your own opinion.
