Review of Exorcist: The Beginning (2004) by Lisa W — 19 Jan 2008
This story follows a priest that witnessed some bad events during the second world war that made him no longer believe he was worthy of his postion. After the war he ends up working on an excavation site in Kenya where an old church looks like it was deliberately buried.
When the church is opened weird things start to happen and it appears that hey have awaken a demonic spirit. The movie really doesn't have anything to do with the original Exorcist but it was still alright.
Possession part aside, it also showed the brutalities of War and what it could do to someone, even a man of God. Worth a look.
