Review of Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977) by Brandon S — 28 Oct 2010
Prime example of why sequels can be a bad thing, even when a healthy budget, good actors, and a master director are present the film can still be garbage. After witnessing a woman in Mexico burn herself a priest is losing his faith and gets appointed to investigate the exorcism of Regan of the first film.
At first she seems like any other girl at her age, but through a hypnosis machine old demons seem to still be at play. It's not the worst film ever made, but probably the worst out of any of the Exorcist films.
