Review of Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977) by Otto E — 16 Jun 2009
I know I'm in the persecuted minority here, but I love this unbearably bad sequel to THE EXORCIST. There are some legitimately good moments, but there are also some moments that are just blatant over attempts at symbolism.
The story is kind of interesting. It's four years later, and Regan is plagued by nightmares of her exorcism. Through a therapist and a priest, the demon that still has a hold over Regan is fought.
As bad as it may be, it's still a hell of a lot better than any of the other sequels or prequels.
