Die Hard.

In the city of Los ANgeles, a Christmas party is held on the 30th floor of the Nakatomi Plaza Hotel. While the party is going on, downstairs, a band of German terrorists arrive and take the entire building hostage including its employees and attempts a huge robbery. But the only one who eludes capture is a New York City Cop John McClane who launces a one man war in an attempt to stop the terrorists and save all hostages including his wife Holly.

This movie is based off of Roderick Throps novel 'Nothing Last Forever'. John McTiernan brings his work to life onto the screen as he directs this stunning movie for the late 80's. John McTeirnan is known to know how to do action movies his credits include Predator, The Hunt for Red October, , Die Hard: With A Vengence, and the upcoming Die Hard 4.0. This movie basically started Bruce Willis's road to stardom, Bruce Willis did a great job as John McClane in this movie. I think Willis is a great actor, hes picked some iffy movies the past 5 or 6 years, his last great movie was The Sixth Sense and The Whole Nine Yards, other then that hes had a few flops and a few alright movies. Alan Rickman is another actor I will have to give some credit to for giving a really great role as the villian. One good thing about the movie is, nothing is really blown out of preportion, like there is no guy dodging bullets matrix style or catching them in there teeth or whatever. The movie has a realistic action feel to it, and that helps it out alot. Alot of people will find themselves in movies like The Matrix and they'll be like oh they can't do that, thats impossible or whatever. For some it takes away from the movie to have unrealistic stuff in it, it just depends whos watching it really. Anyways if you haven't seen this movie, which most people have, then this is a movie I highly recommend you watching. Even if you've seen it, rent it again and refresh your memory, or dust the tape off you own and stick it in the VCR or DVD player.

Smokey and The Bandit 2.

Its been a few years since Cletus and the Bandit made their famous 24-hour run to Texas for a few cases of Coors. Bandit is now a washed-up has-been living in the past, until Big Enos and Little Enos makes him another offer. Transport a live Elephant across the country in 24 hours or less.

This movie is definatley not no where near as good as the orginal. It has some bits of humor and chase scenes to it, but the first one has so much more. I didn't even think I would like the first movie, but it surprised me by being alot better then I thought. Burt Reynolds did good in this movie as what was given to him, it just didnt seem like the same character. Jerry Reed though helped the movie out alot, theres something about him that just gave the movie abetter comedy feel to it. Mike Henry was as stupid as the first one and him and Jackie Gleason also helped make the movie. Sally Fields was still great. See the acting was still good in the movie, it was just the story and the chase scenes that killed this movie. They're no where near like the orginal. So, I recommend the first one and this one is a watch at your own risk type movie. .

The Exorcist 2: The Heretic.

Father Lamont (Richard Burton) is sent by his Cardinal (Paul Henried) to discover the death of Father Merrin (Max con Sydow) and also to see why Regan (Linda Blair) was possessed by the demon Pasuzu. Father Lamont travels around the globe to Africa in search of another possessed by the same demon named Kokumo (James Earl Jones) which Father Merrin had performed an exorcism several years in the past. Kokumo tells Father Lamont that the demon lives inside locusts who fly around the world. When Father Lamont returns to New York where Regan lives he discovers the demon has reached Reagan through Dr. Gene Tuskin's (Louise Fletcher) hypnosis machine. Father Lamont travels to Regan's old home in Georgetown to defeat the demon. However this time the demon takes controls of Regan, Father Lamont, and Sharon (Kitty Winn)..

Following the sequel trend, this movie is not as good as the orginal. Which probably a big reason is it was done by a different director and a different writer. And well, the writer has only written 3 movies and the last one was in 1980. But this movie just doesn't seem horror at all to me, until the last 10-15 minutes. Other then thats theres like maybe a total of 5 minutes of horror in the movie. Its more like a drama to me than a horror, the orginal was one incredibly scary movie. What happened here I don't know. If you looked at this movie as a drama then sure its an alright movie. Although I found myself, wishing this 2 hour movie would come to the end, but I will admit I did enjoy the end sequence. But I wouldn't recommend watching this movie, only the orginal and soon I'll watch the 3rd and 4th ones and see if they're worth watching. .

Boss Hogg and Uncle Jess have been found..

It was just announced not but a few weeks ago about who would be playing Bo and Luke Duke, in the upcoming 'Dukes of Hazzard' motion picture. They are noneother than Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville, and playing the role of Daisy Duke will be Jessica Simpson. Burt Reynolds will playing the corrupted politician Boss Hogg and Willie Nelson will play as Uncle Jesse. Jat Chandrasekhar will be directing it. It will be set in present day, but the General Lee, which is the duo's 1969 Dodge Charger, is expected to be the same iconic orange car seen in the series.

Legend of Zorro has a plot..

The sequel to the 1998 movie Zorro, which starred Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones is currently filimg in San Luis Potosi, Mexico until December. The follow-up will again be directed by Martin Campell. Dashing Alejandro and sultry Elena are married and have a 10-year old son, Joaquin (Adrian Alonso), who knows nothing of his dad's secret swashbucking identity. Besides, the missus would be thrilled if Mr. Z kep his sword sheated once and for all. But when greedy villans threaten to halt California's statehood, it's Zorro to the rescue again.

Silent Hill scirpt is completed..

Roger Avary (The Rules of Attraction) has been working on the script to 'Silent Hill', which is based off of Konami's psychologial horror video game. Now the script is completed, and Christope Gans will be directing. Roger Avary explained why the script was written so quickly, he said that he arrived in Paris and there was already a highly detailed treatment that had been in the works for over a month by Christophe Gans and Nicholas Boukhreif. Filming is supposed to be starting in Febuary.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith trailer to be here soon..

The trailer to the final movie of the prequel trilogy to the best trilogy ever which was the orginal Star Wars. The new trilogy is just horrific and not in a good way. But the trailer, I guess teaser? Or could be full length, but I would like to say teaser trailer, anyways it'll be attachted to 'The Incredibles' which opens on Novemeber 5th. I think its going to be showing on shows like Access Hollywood on the 4th, so just look out for that shitty trailer. But no, I'm sure the trailer is great opposed to how the movie is going to be. Sorry, but I really do not like the new trilogy.

Superman as been casted and Lex Luthor?.

Well sorry Tom Weiling you didn't get the role, who was my top choice as to who I wanted to be Superman. Their best bet was to let the show 'Smallville' end, which would be in a couple season, could be this season. The show is already going to end once Clark Kent gets to metropolis and becomes Superman, and so thats when they transfer the cast to the movie, which they didn't do...Oh well. Kevin Spacy is Bryan Singers #1 choice for Lex Luthor, its not offical, but they're close friends it seems, so you might as well say its official. Superman has been casted as well, Singer did like he said and went with an unknown, and that unknown is Brandon Routh. He does look like a Clark Kent in one of his pictures, but I still prefer Tom Weiling.

-Shaun of the Dead will amuse and horrify DVD stands on December 21st.
