I saw this movie on TV shortly after seeing the first one. I'd never even heard of any sequels to these movies, so I assumed they weren't very good. I was wrong-this is the dumbest scary movie I've ever seen.
The locust scene at the end is by far the stupidest piece of cinematic entertainment I've ever seen. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Linda Blair thought her career was ruined b/c of the first one, but it was this movie that forever ruined her chance as a serious actress.
