Review of Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) by Brian P — 28 Apr 2015
The first 45 minutes somewhat resemble the biblical account. After that, it becomes flooded with inaccuracies, embellishments and downright deviations that ruin the story of Moses.
Even besides all of that, the film is underwhelming and dull.
The set dressing, costumes and production design are top-notch, as one would expect from a Ridley Scott film. I thought the acting was good too.
