Review of Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) by Eddie B — 30 Aug 2015

Plenty of eyeliner in this flick, which I guess serves to both make the actors happy and put it in the right framework as a period piece. I was awestruck by Gladiator and this movie shows that CGI has come a long way since.

Did the jews really build the pyramids? I beg to differ, but they surely did deserve to get out of the slave bound existence and make an example for the rest of mankind providing the 10 commandments. All round an entertaining piece from the Hollywood royalty we have come to know so well over the last decades.

Can not wait to see what comes up next from these masterful creators of wide screen entertainment.
