Review of Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) by Red Rush F — 10 Jun 2015

With a great director, Ridley Scott, and a fantastic cast, I tried to like it more than I originally did. The film does have amazing shots, pretty good special effects, and decent performances by the actors- the adapted story however just didn't work.

It felt muddled and while some parts of it were interesting that they changed it, most of it just dragged on and on- the only thing you couldn't stop looking at was your watch and wondering how much longer is there left? I appreciated for what it was trying to accomplished and what it did acconplish, but for the most part- I was just disappointed.
