Review of Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010) by Mark D — 02 Mar 2011
What you expect from this and what it actually is will leave you mightly surprised. It starts off as a celebration of street art and its hereos (inc. Banksy et al) and turns into a documentary on an eccentric French man who follows these kids around and films them, and finally concludes with the questioning of what the street art movement has now perhaps become.
Very interesting stuff, and quite self critical, which is a nice change.
