Review of Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010) by Aubrey T — 13 May 2011
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this film. Any artist, creative mind, and all interested in creativity and value of creativity will love this film. I think this film makes a statement, as we learn later in the film, about art and what it really means.
You either end up taking Banksy's side or "Mr. Brain Wash's" side. To me, the choice was easy. I was right there with Banksy because his point was that the street art that he was doing was not meant for capitalistic purposes.
It was there for all to view. I agree with him, and see it no other way.
