Review of Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010) by Roger H — 20 Sep 2011
The main character, Mister Brainwash, grates on my nerves like nails on a chalkboard, but I have to admit that the story of how this no-talent flake really did brainwash the masses into busting open their wallets to line his pockets makes for a pretty good documentary (but actually I guess a con artist is talented in a way).
Also the street art scene is fascinating, and the documentary shows a lot of truly talented artists making incredible paintings as sculptures.
