Review of Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010) by Fastidious P — 18 May 2011
This film touched me personally. I can draw very distinct parallels between Thierry Guetta's con of the street art world and my own experience with fraud directors in the commercial/filmmaking industries. Banksy and Co. have trouble explaining the message or moral of the story at the end of the film, but I can summarize it for them:
Talent is useful, but luck, timing & connections will always trump it. Put simply; life is not just.
This is an important film for any creative individual to see.
