Review of eXistenZ (1999) by Joshua S — 07 Feb 2008
One of Cronenberg's finest. Continues on with some his favourite themes of the body, identity and humanity. And of course a healthy dose of weird fleshy, slimy goopy things. Perhaps an interesting insight into the inevitable development of gaming and virtual reality? Unlike some of his more recent films this one has a fantastic ending that leaves you thinking.
