Review of eXistenZ (1999) by Michael B — 20 Apr 2008
This one is out there, even for Cronenberg.... but well written and densely so on some philosophical levels. Unfortunately, the "was it real or not" ending is a bit cliche... but the film will most likely prove prophetic.
Cronenberg is criminally underrated and even his B-work like this is remarkable.
