Review of Exiled (2006) by Eric N — 13 Dec 2007
Johnnie To isn't redefining gunplay here, but he's certainly giving fire fights a new level of elegance. The story is solid in it's thematic execution of brotherhood against all odds with action set pieces that'll be burned in my brain forever.
And props to To for conveying his love for the spaghetti western, from the framing of scenes to the excellent score.
