Review of Exiled (2006) by Kayne M — 02 Sep 2008
I don't know if I've got the right words to describe a film like this. American film makers could do well to study the cinematography of how to have a dramatic gunfight where no one gets killed. And what would happen if the trained assassins who'd came to kill the hero instead were to fail, and help him and his family move into their new apartment?
And that's just the first twenty minutes.
At times the movie is surreal, like a movie about fate. At other times, it's like a John Woo film, done as a western by Quentin Tarantino, with music from a Sergio Leone film.
Highly recommended.
