Review of Exiled (2006) by Michael O — 28 Jun 2009
Sergio Leone and Melville would've made great bedfellows with Jonnie To. This man is a poet of style and honor among men. Then after their bloody, balletic show is over the women and men on the side of the law inherit their spoils.
As an audience we sit back and watch these gloriously badass individuals fight the good fight for ancient honor as we inherit the emotional bounty they leave in their wake. Found this movie to be excellent - a buried treasure.
