An overlooked classic...great performances from an impressive cast, particularly Holden, who is outstanding...Stanwyck was incredible as well but doesnt get enough screen time..Fredric March was great.
..as was June Allyson...some says it dull or what not but I thought for the subject matter the story was quite interesting and the fine performances make up for any dull moments which to me are few...the cinematography was also excellent.
..a must for Holden fans as this is one of his most underrated performances.
