Review of Executive Decision (1996) by Matthew L — 19 Apr 2008
Kind of an unbelievable plot here, even given any post-9/11 paranoia. This terrorist heist film predates that event, and suffers from terribly dumb terrorists and overwrought dialogue, especially from John Leguizamo (calm down, man).
Halle Berry is kind of good, and her character is a bit clever. I also like the co-pilot who keeps his mouth shut when he sees the plane's secret down below. As lead, Kurt Russell is kind of a non-entity.
