What is great about this brainless action thriller is what ultimately caused it to fail in the box office. SPOILER (If you hadn't yet been born yet in 1995) Steve Seagal's untimely fate is dramatically realized in the first act and while hard body fans where immediately put off, all the underdogs were giving a standing ovation.
To this geek, it was an effective twist that partially saved an otherwise underwhelming generic flick. Plus Kurt Russell is my hero.
