A grisly teen horror/dark comedy that despite some fair performances, appropriate direction and competent storytelling fails itself by climaxing in a bloody explosion of nightmarish murder rather than really dealing with a resolution to its characters dilemmas which would have provided the film the extra boost it needed to escape the shackles of the average.
