Review of Excision (2012) by Mark C — 30 Sep 2015
Sad tale of Pauline who is obsessed with becoming a surgeon and saving her sister from cystic fibrosis.
Problem is that Pauline doesn't fit in, constantly fights with her domineering mother, fights with other students and generally doesn't fit in.
This movie is brilliant, tragic, sad, and mixed with some nice humour. The acting is great overall; from Annalyne Mccord and Traci Lords; this movie would not succeed without their great portrayals. The dreams that Pauline has are disturbing to say the least...erotic, and bloody.
Altogether, Excision is a great movie.
