Review of Excalibur (1981) by Ryan D — 28 Jun 2008
This is one of my top movies of all time. It is the most complete and honest to the legend of Arthur that there is. The movie has a great cast, and uses them well. There are no trick to make it more popular for any specific demographics, like the not well made King Arthur, or the worst of them all First Knight.
Its use of Wagner for the soundtrack makes the movie even better. Everyone should watch this film, it is a masterpiece.
