Review of Excalibur (1981) by Robert B — 13 Jul 2008
Still the best King Arthur tale on film. Vibrant, sexy and an awesome cast. The magic of the era plays a large part in this film and rightly so - this was a time when the old gods, goddesses and beliefs in Britain were giving way to Christianity.
Despite the shinning armour (which they didnt have then) this is still a brilliant and exciting film to watch again and again.
