Pure enchantment is what this held for me as a young lady. I paid to see this in the theater dozens of times. the scene depicting Igraine being "taken" by the doppelganger in full armor still makes me catch my breath.
helen mirren's Morgaine and NIcol Williamson'sMerlin are huge reasons to watch this version. my favorite. the epic filming, the captivating score, original casting, and pure artistry.
