While sharply filmed and edited, the script doesn't really live up to the potential of it's premise. And that's tragic because it's a damn good premise. Much of the dialogue comes off as needless, especially when there are so many better things that could be happening; Mysteries to examine. Sinister twists for the plot to take. The overall impression of "Exam" is that it's at least competent and fairly entertaining, even if it feels like a perfectly good idea was wasted on something so mediocre.
