Review of Ex Machina (2015) by Ali M — 30 Oct 2015
Interesting concept, which has a few flaws, why would the AI be interested in the world outside rather than the world inside. The attempt to sequester the major populaces common desire for searching out rather than searching within is a common theme of many movies but is never explained.
Another flaw would be, a common shut down protocol for all robotic unit rather than using a bar to physically break down his inventions which seems counter productive and very medieval. I guess the only redeeming feature of this movie is deception .
.. who is deceiving who exactly .... in the end the outcome was neither surprising nor exciting ... in just a week for someone to loose their mind and emotions in the way it was portrayed is laughable and for a robotic AI is even worse .
.. the sick thought of using robotic as a tool to further enhance man desire is neither surprising in this day and age where incest, pedophilia, homo, bi sexuality are being accepted more and more. Further ideology of god status being probed here is further laughable, as true God can create from nothing, clearly man have no ability to do that, and all invention are mere manipulation, which is what ex machina is .
.. a manipulation.
