Review of Ex Machina (2015) by Nigel M — 13 Dec 2015
I enjoyed watching the film. But it was just fine, not remarkable in any way. I wanted to see more exploration of the initial premise of the movie, investigating the presence of Artificial Intelligence in a piece of hardware (made to look like a person) and the nature of consciousness.
The movie certainly plays with this question and does so in an entertaining way. But I didn't come away thinking anything more about the subject and I would like to have done.
