One of the years best surprises by a director I've never heard of. The acting is terrific. The story is very well thought out and written even though it's not the most original idea. The only thing that was a little shaky for me was the ending.
It wasn't a bad ending, it just wasn't as good as the rest of the movie and a bit drawn out. I can definitely overlook that though as Ex Machina is a near perfect movie.
