Review of Ex Machina (2015) by Robert J — 28 May 2016

Directed by Alex Garland who has worked on other solid sci-fi films such as Dredd, Sunshine and 28 Days Later this is a film full of ideas and heavy on style. Solid performances by the three leads, a good score, special effects that may well not be flashy but are seamless in their execution with the real world, a well thought out script with deep meanings and many questions (and some answers) throughout and even though I wasn't wholly satisfied with the ending it was a film in general I was satisfied by.
