It definitely had an indie film vibe to it, but I liked it. It had a very original script, and it dealt with AI in a way that's not inherently evil, which gets tiresome. It's nice to see something that is well thought out, and doesn't have any plot holes or convenient shortcuts in the writing.
Very smart film. Engaging, intelligent, and simple.
