Review of Ex Machina (2015) by Bob H — 30 Jul 2016
Great movie with a couple of plot flaws. 1. Nathan was a genius, but oops he forgot to program in Asimov's rules for robots - not to harm humans, etc. 2. To upgrade Ada he would't need to wipe her memory (kill her) anymore than you'd need to wipe your computer's hard drive to upgrade it.
But, fixing those flaws would have required a different ending which could have been an improvement.
