Review of Ex Machina (2015) by Intuciic . — 14 Jun 2017
I didn't know what to expect going in, but I really enjoyed it. Ex Machina is A24's Sci Fi, Romance, Mystery about Androids. "A young programmer is selected to participate in a ground-breaking experiment in synthetic intelligence by evaluating the human qualities of a breath-taking humanoid A.I." This film took a little while to pick up, but after that it got good. Alicia Vikander, Domhall Gleeson, and Oscar Issac did excellent in their roles. They played the characters really well. I started to believe they were real people. The cinematography was beautiful. An interesting film to look at. The soundtrack fit the film and was super tense. It was an excellent soundtrack that bulit tension and suspense in the film. The script was well written, it seemed like how people would talk. The runtime was a good runtime, not too long and not too short. Overall, a very interesting sci fi film with amazing cinematography and great performances.
Rating: 8.3/10.
