The conversation "sessions" are tantalising - potentially fascinating, but sadly incompletely explored. The rest is rather obvious pulp sci-fi, and too doom-laden to be enjoyed much. It looks great, but the story just doesn't deliver.
Not in the league of Besson's "Lucy".
