Review of Ex Machina (2015) by Axl P — 29 Jan 2016

I wish I'd read a bit more about this film before watching. It would have given me more appreciation for it at the time of watching. This movie left an impression. I find myself mulling it over even now, weeks after watching.

There is so much going on in this film. In a way it is a Frankenstein tale. Though, unlike the classic, this monster is beautiful and perfectly able to assimilate into the world of humans. Is it in our nature to create ourselves? In doing so, will we bring an end to our race? Note: Isaac Oscar's dance scene is something to behold.
