Ex Machina shows what happens when a corrupt man crosses a line that should not be crossed; and creates life in his own image. While this topic is not new, it is retold in an original and interesting way; which is sadly not the norm nowadays.
Not only is this meditation on identity and truth, but also on human's place/purpose on Earth. Truly incredible performances by all cast members, and a haunting score and beautifully shot scenes all go to create an inspired piece of cinema.
