Review of Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (1985) by Victor F — 28 Oct 2010
It destroys completely the spirit of the Star Wars movies. The plot is mediocre, the kids forget about their murdered family in two minutes and they did not care about the other ewoks. And why would two different ships crash into that moon for no reason?
Besides the story does not fit in the Star Wars Universe: if this story happened after The Return of the Jedi, they should be able to find some "Energy" in the remains of the Imperial base. And where did those creatures and that woman come from? They didn't know very much of space travel and The Empire would have wiped them out for sure if they were there before. On the other hand if it took place before the Episode VI, why would have Wicket forgotten all the English he learnt??
Not everithing is bad though, Warwick Davis and Aubree Miller did a pretty good job.
