Right from the start of this film, you ask: "Is this Star Wars?".
The answer, unfortunately: "Yes.".
Ewoks strikes me as a experiment for ILM, to take a shot at stop-motion animation. I can see why they chose to become CG experts.
But Ewoks has a few interesting set-pieces that appear in Lucas' prequels, so that is interesting.
