Like so many movies, this one had a really great 1st half and then just ran out of steam; the 2nd part is quite boring with overdone special effects substituting the funny dialogue and cool ideas of the hilarious 1st half.
.. the ending is pretty much your typical unoriginal half-ass happy ending cop out.
