Review of Evolution (2001) by Ray D — 08 Mar 2009
This feels like an odd mish-mash of two different movie ideas that didn't work out--one a serious, high-concept science-fiction film, and the other a goofball comedy. Of course, director Ivan Reitman was probably trying to catch the same genre-hopping lightning in a bottle that powered GHOSTBUSTERS a decade before this, but it doesn't quite work this time--.
