Review of Evita (2009) by Greta P — 23 Dec 2008
I didn't like the beginning at all, but the movie redeemed itself about halfway through. Madonna is perfect for the role and has some emotional scenes toward the end. Banderas is not the greatest singer and some of the songs were horrible.
BUT the cinematic style was interesting and the film was visually pleasing. Beautiful costumes....take it for what it is :).
