OK, I didn't see this when it came out because I so dislike Madonna, but now that we are being consumed by our upcoming trip to Argentina and studying Argentine history we felt we should see it. WOW, it was awesome, the fact that it was Madonna really did not distract and I could tell she had voice lessons, plus who doesn't love antonio? It had so much power and emotion, while I highly recommend the argentine bio pic Eva Peron, this version, as a musical conveys so much passion and high drama that somehow really adds to the historical account.
